About The Vista
The Vista was established in 1903 as the student newspaper of the University of Central Oklahama. From that year on, UCO students have looked to The Vista for the information they want and the news they need.
Newspapers are distributed free of charge on the UCO campus and at designated off-campus locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays when classes are in session with occasional breaks due to holidays. During the summer semester, The Vista is published weekly on Thursdays in tabloid format.
The Vista has a circulation of 6,000 during the fall and spring semesters and 2,500 during the summer semester.
The Vista is also read online at www.thevistaonline.com. This online version of the newspaper allows readers to not only read the current and past Vistas, but also speak their minds about the content through feedback forums and e-mail.
The Vista is a member of the Oklahoma Press Association, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the Associated Collegiate Press and the Associated Press.
