Some sports news today and opinions.
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott June 2009kobe gets his title. I am not a Kobe hater, I have no hate for the man. Hes a great player. However, I was listening to the Sports Animal yesterday and some callers called in saying he was better than Michal Jordan. I dont think so. That is rediculous. Congrats though Kobe. Ryan...6/16/09 1:13 PM

I was right.
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott June 20096/3/09 1:31 PM I predicted the upset in game three of the stanley cup finals. Enough with the gloating. I predict the penguins to take game four as well. Pittsburghs powerplay is on fire, and Detroit's goalie is starting to falter under the wave of shots hes taking.

Game three of the stanley cup
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott June 20096/2/09 1:23 PM Im picking Pittsburgh. The logical choice would be detroit, however, Im looking for home ice advantage to help the penguins pull out a victory. Not to mention they are out shooting the red wings. Eventually those have to turn into goals. Right?

NFL OTAs in full swing!
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott June 2009I am in heaven at the moment. This is the only "good" time in NFL off season after the draft has taken place. I like to follow the Bills of course. For the Vista I will report on Cowboys and Chiefs of the proximity. What team are you following????...6/1/09 2:37 PM

Blake Griffin to NBA was the only choice
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott April 2009For some reason his decision to come out to the draft was being debated. There is no debate. Griffin is the best player in the draft. The best, there is no reason to even debate the topic. For him to stay would have been financially rediculous, as well as against all common sense. I will give him...4/11/09 4:20 PM

OU won't make the final 4
Posted in: Inside the Lines with Chris Wescott March 2009despite a double digit outing from Griffin, OU faltered against North Carolina tonight, losing 72-60. Of course, I never thought they would make the final four, not with Syracuse then NC in a row. That is a tough stretch. I am however, impressed with the Sooners. Congrats on a great...3/29/09 9:55 PM
