UCO destroyed Texas Tech 9-0 tonight at artic edge arena.

 

Come out tomorrow night at 7:30pm, It is free to UCO students!!!

Great game all the way from start to finish tonight.

I have to rant.

Tonight, I am nervous. My favorite Sabre, Ryan Miller, is out indefinetly after a high ankle sprain when Gomez of the NY Rangers slid into him last week.

his replacment in that game let by 2 goals on 13 shots. Not exactly aiding in my nervousness....

Patrick Lalime is going to be either my hero, or my worst enemy before the night is over.

If he screws up the Sabre's chance at the playoffs I am going to be thouroughly upset.

Lalime, I beg you. PLEASE DON'T SUCK!!!

I want to start getting the student readers involved more in my blog writing. I was reading some ESPN, and NFL blogs and I really like this "fan friday" thing. Its where you send me emails, with questions, comments, concerns with your name and location. Every other friday I answer the emails in a sort of response to the fans. Let me know what you think about it. There are alot of good topics coming up.

Hockey Bedlam: OU sweeps UCO

#6 OU got a sweep of # 12 UCO in a two game combined score of 15-4. That is not what was expected of the bronchos. Following the second game, I recieved some word from a couple of fans that watched the game and did not like the dirty shots that OU was taking all night long. They were also upset, that the Bronchos never actually retaliated to the blatent dirty play. There is a reason. Let me explain. OU has 6 games left on their schedule before the ACHA Division 1 national championships. UCO has 0. OU is securely in the tournament. Fighting in the ACHA league is strictly fined and punished. And suspensions can be 2-4 games. If OU gets a few players suspended, they will have them back for the tournament. If UCO gets anyone suspended, they lose them for the tournament. I haven't...

Flanders almost went to OSU, but changed his commitment to Kansas State???

Tim Flanders is a big name high school player, I had the pleasure of playing against him in high school, (I believe I was a senior when he was a sophomore.) and I know he wil be a star at the collegiate level.

Flanders is a star student, and a great athlete.

I thought OSU could grab him away from Tulsa, but according to this:

While listening to some WWLS sports animal this morning, I heard that he may be switching his commitment to Oklahoma State from Tulsa. Noone was talking K-state. But the wildcats appear to have gotten a stud player if that link is right...
